Larimar is a rare blue variety of the silicate mineral pectolite found only in the Dominican Republic, in the Caribbean. Its colouration varies from white, light-blue, green-blue to deep blue.
This deep blue to an almost sky blue with light white marbling is the most expensive gemstone. An all blue Larimar with white swirls and wisps is the ideal gemstone.
Note: This heart has a flat back so can be used as a cabochon.
